I attended Yale University, where I earned my bachelor's of arts degree in English. Now I am studying for my master's degree in English, this time at Southern New Hampshire University. I work as a public relations consultant, but my deepest passion is for the English language, and for literature. I am able to tutor in a wide variety of subjects, especially in the English category. I can tutor in writing and editing, reading comprehension, writing college entrance essays, and I can also work with students on basic study and organizational skills. I have an interest in a number of literature genres, including such widely varied areas as gender theory and feminist writing and science fiction, children's and young adult novels and 19th century British literature. One other area I can tutor in is in assisting students as they prepare for various standardized tests, such as the SAT, ACT, and GRE, among others. In my spare time, I have hobbies including cooking, reading (of course), working on DIY projects, archery, and attending music festivals.
