I have taught 4th-6th grades for the last 35 years in Williamstown, NJ in the Monroe Township Public School District. The last 12 years I taught Language Arts in grade 6 at Williamstown Middle School. During these years, I have done homebound tutoring for ill students, student of migrant workers, and students who were injured and unable to attend school. I have supplied supplemental instruction to students who did not have a proficient score on the NJ ASK test. This was a title 1 funded program. I have received several awards including: • Excellence in Education Award- NJ Clean Community Council-2014 • Environmental Quality Award-Puerto Rico-NJ Student Exchange-NJ Clean Community Council-2014 • Jostens Renaissance “You Make a Difference Award” -2012 • Environmental Quality Award- NJ Clean Community Council- 2011 • Jostens Renaissance “National Coordinator of the Year Award”- 2008 • People’s Choice Award, Williamstown Middle School-2008
