I am a senior at Rowan University with a 3.67 GPA. I have an Associates Degree in the Arts from the County College of Morris. There I studied Education with a concentration in history. At Rowan I am a duel Major in History with a concentration in international studies and Secondary Education.
Experience
I have performed over 80 hours of student teaching hours in 7 different schools while working toward my BA and teacher certification. I have background in most historical topics, specializing in American and World history. My Praxis 2 score for History content knowledge was 158. I want to tutor because I want to teach. It is becoming more and more difficult to find teaching opportunities, especially for college students. I've wanted to teach since the 6th grade and can't imagine doing anything else. It may sound cliche but it's all I've ever wanted to do and history is my personal passion.

Hobbies
I am a member of Rowan's Golden Key International, Phi Theta Alpha History Honour Society. I am most active in our chapter of Circle K International. Within Circle K I have been President, Club Representative and am currently a Lieutenant Governor. Circle K is the worlds largest inter-collegiate community service organization and it means the world to me. With Circle K I have traveled the east coast and performed many service hours in various states. On a more personal level I love football and am an avid TV fan (I personally love The office, True Blood, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report) I love Super heroes (Batman is my favorite!) and various pop-culture happenings. I'm really fun loving and passionate about teaching History, because it has been something I've loved since middle school.
