Experience
I have been fortunate that my mom, a licensed teacher, taught me the Seton curriculum as a homeschooled student. I have always appreciated history for as long as I can remember, thanks in part to my vacations in the summer to places like Colonial Williamsburg and Gettysburg. I earned my associate degree in Arts and Sciences from Gloucester County College. I then went on to graduate magna cum laude from St. Bonaventure University, with a bachelor's degree in History. I spent some time as a foreign exchange student in Sevilla, where I had my first experiences with Spanish. I am very passionate about a broad range of topics, like mythology, history, a random obsession with literature in fantasy, and literature. These passions are helping me to pursue a master's degree in American History and Culture. I am next pursuing my ESL education certification. I believe a focused mind results from a balance of play time and intense exercise. I used to play hockey, the roller kind, and baseball. Currently, I bike often, follow an odd game, and run. I also enjoy improving my skills playing guitar and listening to music from all genres, like hip hop, classical, and rock.
